What is ToolBox

ToolBox is a collection of free online tools for developers and everyday users: text encoding, JSON formatting, hash generation, passwords, image compression, QR codes, color conversion and more. Every tool has one goal — solve a small everyday problem in as few steps as possible.

Why everything runs locally

This is the core idea of the site: privacy should not be a feature — it should be the architecture. Your data — JSON, tokens, passwords, files, images — never leaves your device, because the processing happens in your browser. There is no server on our side that could ever receive it.

Running locally also brings two more benefits: everything is instant (no upload/download round-trips), and the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.

Who is behind it

ToolBox is maintained by an independent developer. Tools are added and improved continuously based on user feedback — suggestions and bug reports are always welcome via the contact page.

What comes next

The site currently offers 15 tools across 5 categories, with new ones added weekly. Planned directions include more text and developer utilities, enhanced image processing, and additional languages.
